Moeletsi Mbeki is a political commentator, academic and businessman. He is executive chairman of KMM Investments, which has interests in the publishing industry and television production company Endemol SA, which he also chairs. He is also chairman of African Resources & Logistics Corp and a board member of Comazar. He is deputy chairman of the SA Institute of International Affairs, a think-tank based at Wits University and a political analyst for Nedbank. He is a member of the executive council of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) which is based in London. For most of the 1980s he was a journalist for Zimbabwean Newspapers. When he returned to SA in 1990, he became head of communications at Cosatu and a media adviser to the ANC. He holds an MA in sociology from the University of Warwick and was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University from 1988-1989.
